We went on a wildflower walk today on the Jordan River at Pinney Bridge State Park. Lovely sunny weather, abundant poison ivy, deer flies and mosquitoes--and quite a few flowers in bloom. It's a beautiful area, and an excellent way to get to see it. But the sunlight made the photos too contrasty with the lens I was using; I didn't get many very good ones. Now I want to go back. It's a long way in on a narrow dirt road; I almost thought I had made a mistake and turned back before I got to the parking lot.
