Look at the way these steps are fitted around the boulder at the bottom. Many handmade corners of Japan are like this. It is extrememly pleasing to notice them. Today for lunch (someone DID ask, but I think it was most certainly a joke) I had a delicious dead-ripe Bartlett pear. Then for dinner, I had a glass of plum wine with tempura and beef teriyaki with my dear friend dlc. It has been raining mildlu, dort of a foretaste for the predicted BIG storm in the next couple of days.
A thrilling victory for Obama in Iowa! I have been telling my friends he was good; many people discouraged me that America was not ready. I think we just might be!
